Everything Is Changing In This World

Everything Is Changing In This WorldEveryone wants something that is new, better and different. I am often asked this question - Where do I start to bring the positive change in my life ?

Usually my answer is that Success is a system... it is a process. And I explain this with the help of 5 pillars that I created to bring the personal and professional transformation in the lives of people.

The Five Pillars Are-

1. INSPIRATION
2. ACTION
3. PURPOSE
4. VISION
5. EXECUTION

Nothing in this world happens without INSPIRATION, it is a fuel for the action in our lives.

ACTION is the natural byproduct of Inspiration. Get clear on what are your goals and take “ACTIONS” accordingly. So what is ONE opportunity on which you must take ACTION right now?

When you are coming form a place of inspired action…Your PURPOSE shows up. What is that you are passionate doing? Ask yourself - Why do I do what I do. THAT IS YOUR PURPOSE.

Once you know what is ‘the contribution’ you want to make to the world your VISION becomes Clear and Big. If you knew you could not fail…. What would you like to do?

When your Vision becomes clear you need to EXECUTE. Get off one task that is draining the energy out of you. Outsource the task that you dislike doing most and this way your productivity will increase.

Incorporate these 5 pillars in your life to bring personal and professional transformation.

This whole business of being a person is quite weird

Two young girls at Camp Christmas Seals, {{w|H...[Image via Wikipedia]

Stop for a moment and think of all the people you know–friends, relatives, people you work with, people you play with, and people you see from time to time as you go about your business, but don’t know well.

Also think for a moment about all the people you know about, but don’t know personally–politicians, celebrities, leaders, and so on.

All these people have one important thing in common: they’re all doing their best to make sense of what it means to be a human being.

Think about it. Here we are, on this spinning rock ball, in the middle of endlessly vast space, in a thin and fragile protected environment absolutely necessary to us if we’re to stay alive. We come into the world, and then, after an undetermined amount of time, we’re gone. Ashes to ashes, dust to dust.

(Actually, if you think about it, it would be more accurate to say that we come OUT of the world, like an apple comes out of an apple tree, but that’s another story, for another day.)

When you think about it, doesn’t it strike you that this whole business of being a person is quite weird? I mean, what’s it all about? Why is it happening? Is there any purpose to it? If so, what is it?

Write It Down. It Works!

Greek TextureImage by chefranden via Flickr

"Writing helps you to remember things. If you just think about the changes you want to make, what’re the chances that you’ll have forgotten all about it by the time your next exam, report, fitness attempt, or diet comes around? You wouldn’t try to keep your diary for the year in your head – so don’t keep other important information there too. Write it down, and you can always refer back to it to jog your memory.

Secondly, writing can seriously help your thought process. This does depend a bit on how your brain’s wired – some of us find it easier to think things through by talking about them, or by doing something with our hands. But most people do get a boost from writing: the process of putting thoughts into words helps you to get greater clarity about them.

And thirdly, the act of writing something down makes you feel more accountable – you’re more likely to do it. Many studies have shown that people who write down their goals are more likely to succeed than those who don’t. And avoiding wasting precious time, energy and money on repeating your mistakes is definitely a worthy goal to have."

Our personal integrity is only as high as the integrity of the rest of society

To assume that a person must be "structurally motivated" or hence "forced" into doing anything, is just absurd. Think back to when you were a child and had no idea what money even was. You played, were curious and did many things... why? Because you wanted to. However, as time goes on in our system, that natural curiosity and self-motivation is stripped away from people, as they are forced to conform to the specialized, compartmentalized, nearly predefined labor system in order to survive. This, in turn, often creates a natural rebellion within the person due to the forced obligation, and this is how we came up with "leisure" and "work" separations. The laziness assumed to exist by the monetary system proponents (who claim it produces incentive) do not recognize this. In a true society, people would follow their natural inclinations and work to contribute to society not because they are "paid" for it, but because they have a greater awareness which recognizes that contributing to society helps them just as much as everyone else. This is the heightened state of awareness we hope to communicate. Your reward for contributing to society is the well being of that society... which, in turn, furthers your well being.

It is time to stop the patchwork. It is time to begin a new social approach which is updated to present day knowledge. Sadly, society today is still largely based on outmoded, superstitious dispositions and resolutions.

It is also important to point out that there are no utopias or endings. All evidence points to perpetual change on all levels. In turn, it is our personal actions everyday of our lives that mold and perpetuate the social systems we have in place. Yet, paradoxically, it is also our environmental influences which create our perspectives and hence world views. Therefore, true change will come not only from adjusting your personal understandings and decisions, but equally from changing the social structures that influence these understandings and decisions.

Why would Buddha say such a thing?

Buddha - Zen Story - Four Wives[Image via Wikipedia]

During the Ching Dynasty, a wealthy sick old man summoned his four wives to his bed-side. He was dying and wanted company on his journey. He wondered, “Will any of my wives accompany me to the next life?”

He asked his first wife, “My dear wife, I loved you day and night, I took care of you throughout my whole life. Now I am about to die, will you please go with me wherever I go after my death?”
The first wife said, “My dear husband, I know you always loved me. You are dying. Now it is time to separate from you. Goodbye, my dear.”

He called his second wife to his sickbed to ask her to follow him in death. “My dear second wife, you know how I loved you. Sometimes I was afraid you might leave me, but I held on to you strongly. My dear, please come with me.”
The second wife answered rather coldly. “Dear husband, how can I follow you? You loved me only for your own selfish sake.”

He asked his third wife to follow him. With tears the third wife also refused, “My dear, I pity you and I feel sad for myself. Therefore I shall accompany you to the graveyard. This is my last duty to you.”

Now he called his fourth wife for whom he didn’t care very much. He had treated her like a slave and had always showed much displeasure with her. She certainly would say no.
But when he asked, she answered, “My dear husband, I will go with you. Whatever happens, I will be with you forever. I cannot be separated from you.”

Judging a book by its cover

Karen Chaffee at utipsenhanceyourlife.blogspot.comTake a peek. Have a listen at the video. Notice the before and after looks on the faces of the judges and the audience. Also notice Susan's determination to remain unphased as she stands before them all on that stage. They had taken one look at her and made a false judgment, but even now, they are looking at Ms. Boyle in the light of having at least given this lady a chance. Her gift to sing beautifully far out-shines the way she is perceived if one were to judge the outside package alone.

Susan Boyle is a beautiful life lesson in simple trappings. She had the courage to stand there, wiggle, smile, joke, in spite of the initial reactions she garnered, and that lady sang. Public speaking, public performance of any kind, is the number one fear among people every where. During her five minutes of fame, now far extended, this woman taught at least three lessons: be yourself, be courageous, use your talent - no matter what.

The saddest thing is that too many pre-judge at all!

Living In An Abundant Universe

Living In An Abundant Universe[Image via Wikipedia]

Most people think that having money will solve all of their “problems”. Or having money will give them the capability to have experiences, feelings or a quality of life they don’t have now.

I’m sure you’ve thought about having a huge pile of money and what you would be feeling like … excitement, aliveness, powerful, a sense of security, being a “big cheese”. Perhaps you even thought you would have the time freedom to do what you love to do, relax and play.

I know its fun thinking about all of this. However, money and other desired “toys” by themselves won’t fill your needs or give you the feeling you want to experience.

“Huh?”, you say. “I thought you were telling me to think about the things I want and desire.”

Well, yes we are. AND, you have to go deeper than just the “thinking” or the “having” of the thing. You have to go within yourself and come from the RESULT that you want. The pieces of paper with dead presidents on them aren’t going to give you the “feeling of aliveness” in your life.
